Organising is about retrieval: where does this go, how do I find it later. That's a real problem and a solved one — and solving it produces a tidy library, not a system that acts. A perfectly organised vault still knows nothing about you.

Architecture answers a different question: what are the entities in your world, how do they relate, what's true about you, what rules apply. That's what lets an assistant act with focus rather than generically — it isn't reading your notes better, it's reading a model.

Which is why most second-brain advice plateaus exactly where it does. Organising is where the note-taking tradition ends; architecture is where the data-modelling one begins.
